The AVC Foundation Scholarships

The AVC Foundation has over 200 scholarships available to students each year. When applying for a Foundation scholarship, students simply fill out one application, and  their application is screened for all scholarships for which they are eligible.

LCAP Parent and Community Forums

The Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is based on
California State Priorities and District Focus Areas for student achievement. Virtual Academy families are invited to attend either of our Prep Academy forums, we will be holding one in Palmdale at Knight Prep and one in Lancaster at the Antelope Valley College boardroom (see flyers for details)

Palmdale Works! Youth Job Academy

The six-session training will include completing an application, identifying potential employers, customer service skills, and personal performance standards. Participants will also participate in mock interviews. Additionally, local employers will participate in a panel discussing their hiring priorities and performance expectations. Students completing the class will receive a certificate of completion for presentation to perspective employers outlining the training components.
